The imperial crown of peaks of Bishorn (4153 m) – Weisshorn (4505 m) – Zinalrothorn (4221 m) – Ober Gabelhorn (4063 m) – Dent Blanch (4358 m) which gave this high route its name. 

Huts are open from early March to April or early May. The last weeks might be quite low snow though. 

The route can be done as a circuit from Zinal (as we did it) or in a sequence from the famous Haute Route via Schönbiel Hütte before descending to Zermatt in the oposite direction.
