The imperial crown of peaks of Bishorn (4153 m) – Weisshorn (4505 m) – Zinalrothorn (4221 m) – Ober Gabelhorn (4063 m) – Dent Blanch (4358 m) which gave this high route its name. 

Huts are open from early March to April or early May.

The route can be done as a circuit from Zinal (as we did it) or in a sequence from the famous Haute Route via Schönbiel Hütte before descending to Zermatt in the oposite direction.
