Avalanche equipment, training and experiences needed. Crampon, ice axe, rope (30 m is OK) and basic climbing skills necessary. 

• Swiss: Avalanche risk web or White risk app Swiss avalanche reports. 

• Weather forecast: Meteo Suisse or MeteoBlue (more optimistic).

• Snow depth: Windy. 

• Mountain Rescue: 1415 in Valais region (Air-Glaciers), 1414 (Air-Rescue Rega) elsewhere in Switzerland.
