There's no water on the eastern part of the trail except for huts. Carry plenty of water, especially in sunny summer weather. Most of the trail is pretty dry terrain over sharp rocks.

No dogs are allowed in the area.

Access

Regular buses (960) run from Schladming train station to the cable lift station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car.
