Nice views close to a Jennerbahn lift are worth seeing despite the fact a "highway" there can be quite overcrowded.

Gotzenalm is over 100 years old. The wall of the original hut is kept untouched inside near a counter.

Gotzenalm and Watzmannhaus offer an accomodation from a twin room to a shared lager.
Kärlingerhaus has a 4 bed room or a lager.
Wasseralm offers only a lager.
Sleeping bag liner is mandatory. During a covid period, Watzmannhaus insisted on both sleeping bag and liner at the same time or you'd get fined (Ordnung muss sein!).
