We wanted to get a glimpse of a local culture of Omo or Mago valleys' dry open savanah, riverine forrests and tribes. However when we got there, we were discouraged by how touristic the places seemed to be. You are considered a "faranji" to shout at and take money from and supposed to pay for every single photo. Everybody is a self-appointed guide that needs you sell his services.

Instead of going with the crowd we decided to explore noname neaby villages. Instead of hunting for attractions we became an attraction for curious local children and were invited to a hut for a tea.
